Belize Accommodations
There are many types of accommodations and lodgings to choose from if you're staying in Belize. Whether you're looking for resort pampering or an eco-adventure, you're sure to find it here.
Although resorts in Belize may be small in size, they're not short on luxury. Some resorts offer all-inclusive plans.
If resort living isn't your style, or if you're on a tighter budget, check out any of the smaller hotels, guesthouses, and bed and breakfasts in Belize. These accommodations span all levels of quality and price.
If you're vacationing with a large group or plan to stay for an extended amount of time, consider renting a villa, condo, or apartment. Each offers something different, but all generally include convenient kitchen facilities.
If you're the outdoors type, look into eco-lodges and campgrounds. While official campgrounds may be sparse, many hotels, especially of the ecologically-friendly variety, will allow you to camp on their land for the night
If you want to visit Belize's, do some fishing and/or diving & snorkeling, you'll want to stay in the cayes (islands). But, which beach? Ambergris Caye? Caye Caulker? Hopkins? Placencia? Or would you rather stay on one of Belize's small palm-fringed islands -- or sail amongst them, far from the madding crowd? And, do you want a traditional hotel, a villa or suite with a kitchen, a beach cabana, or a full service resort?
What about the jungle? Should you split your time between the jungle and the beach, or just take day trips to the jungle and rainforest areas of Belize to check out the Mayan ruins, do some caving, jungle hiking, maybe some jungle horseback riding or jungle river canoeing?
Unfortunately, the answer to all of these questions is, "It depends." And, answering these questions is usually the initial focus of our work with most of our clients.
